I have an extensive background in gymnastics and dance in my younger years and have always wanted to integrate those skills into my adult life. And then I found pole dancing.
The first time I pole danced was actually not in a class. My sister wanted to do something crazy and fun for her bachelorette party and I thought what could be more fun and crazy than a pole dancing class?!?! Even though the class was meant for fun I found out how much of a workout it was. I was immediately hooked. What actually got me addicted to pole was when I got my first butterfly the feeling of how strong I got and the motivation to do all the amazing moves I saw lead me to the great world of pole. The butterfly is still my favorite move today. I have been to Pole Expo and Pole Convention many times and love to learn from the great pole stars and gain more excitement to continue my pole journey. I love pole & use it to build strength, have fun, and maintain a peaceful mind. |
